Stingray Bulletin Board - Main PageThis page is provided as a free service to our membership. Each club member is allowed to have two (2) items listed for advertising at any given time. These items may be either equipment for sale or trade or a "news" blurb containing a short message or advertisement. Dive Trips are listed on a separate page from all other items so viewers of this website who are interested primarily in trip information can go directly to the trip page and avoid the "news" and "for sale" items. A trip notice on this bulletin board does not automatically indicate club sponsorship or promotion. Any club member in good standing may post an item here for viewing, so unless club sponsorship or promotion is explicitly expressed it should be understood that Stingray Divers Club is not sponsoring the trip in question. All trips sponsored by Stingray Divers Club will have the Stingray Dive Flag shown below posted in the trip information. If the flag ain't posted, the trip is being coordinated by and is the full responsibility of the contact person or group shown on the Bulletin Board. Boss... de flag... de flag...
For any item to be listed, all information must fit within the normal setup of the sample page shown below, all information must be of a non offensive nature, and the item must be submitted by a current member in good standing with Stingray Divers Club. Sorry, but now we have to cover the legal mumbo jumbo. Read on! Neither Stingray Divers Club nor Umpire Technologies Group, Incorporated assume any responsibility or liability in any form for the condition, usability, safety, consequences arising from use or participation, or worth of any equipment, item, service or trip listed here. Any and all discussions, arbitration or contractual agreements resulting from the sale, trade or barter of any equipment, service or trip listed herein will be between the parties involved and will be the full responsibility of the parties involved. Neither Stingray Divers Club nor Umpire Technologies Group, Incorporated assume any liability or responsibility whatsoever for any problems resulting from a transaction originating from a viewing on this website. These Bulletin Board pages are provided as a venue for the posting and viewing of items as a service to our membership. The webmaster for Stingray Divers Club reserves the right to exclude any and all items deemed unsuitable for this website. To submit an item for posting: Email quartermaster@stingraydiversclub.com and be sure to include the following: (1) Who you are... we need to know that you are a current club member. (2) A brief description of the item (s) that you would like to have posted. Only two items per member at any given time. This allows everyone an opportunity to post items and keeps the size of the web page reasonable. For clarity.... that's two (2) items maximum, and the description for each item can be no more than two lines in length unless otherwise stated on the Bulletin Board page. See the sample listing below. (3) How you wish to be contacted. Only phone numbers or email addresses will be posted unless you specify otherwise in your submittal request. Make sure that your contact method will allow you to communicate with someone interested in your item. You are responsible for checking the "Bulletin Board" and making sure all the information is posted correctly. Should there be an error, you are responsible for contacting the quartermaster and making us aware of the issue. Once notified we will correct any errors as soon as possible. All modifications, postings, and deletions will be handled as quickly as possible, but as we all have regular jobs just like most of you, it may take a day or so for an update to occur. As such, there is no guarantee, either written or implied, as to the timeline between notification from members and website updates. (4) Last but not least... if you don't want people continuing to call or email you about your item long after you have disposed of it, you need to email the quartermaster and let us know to remove the item. You'll need to use the same email identification that you used when the original posting was made so we can make sure the removal request is valid and authorized. To contact someone about a posted item: (1) Read all the disclaimer information above that says if you have any type of problem with anything whatsoever it's not our fault and we can't help! (2) Use the contact method shown in the appropriate column of the listing. For the privacy of our membership only email or phone numbers will be shown unless they have specified otherwise, so please refrain from asking for names. Our job here is to put the pushpin in the electronic paper.... the rest is up to you. Stingray Divers Club - Bulletin Board
